toilets and liberace

According to the book Oddballs and Eccentrics, Liberace owned a piano made from toothpicks and a toilet that could retract into the floor. In his own words, "There is no reason why you should walk into a bathroom and see a toilet - it is unglamorous."

Wow! Thank you so much. That made my day. I added a new section to my toolbar called "blogs of readers." You are 1 or a list of 1! Yay! -- Thanks a ton

How do I put in a toilet that goes into the floor? maybe I wouldn't have to clean it so much.

Your blog is full of fun and funny things to read. Thanks.

Thank you, anonymous. Now you just have to find a retractable toliet paper holder.

Not true about the toilet. He did have a toilet in his Palm Springs home that was set up as a "throne", that much is true. And please, that's not even a photo of Liberace, it's one of those impersonators.

Sorry about the picture. As you can see, I changed it.
I don't personally know if the toliet thing is true, but I cited where I got it from. This post is kinda unusual because my source is a book and not from a web page I can show you. Anyway, it's on page 256 of the book.
Thanks for keeping me honest.
